What brand of colored contact lenses look most realistic for dark eyes?

I've seen some colored contact lenses on people with dark eyes and while they look nice from far away, when you get close, they look really fake. Is there a brand that blends the actual eye color better with the contact lenses color to look more natural and realistic?|||It doesn't matter what your original eyecolor was.

It's your skin tone.

-Dark complexion look nice with green/light brown/grey

-Olive/Medium/Tan complexion look nice with the ones above but not blue

-Fair complexion looks nice with any eyecolor

Acuvue worked fine with dark eyes. But why do you want to cover up your beautiful dark eyes??? :)

Its what your race can actually get. If you go out of that, it looks a little unrealistic.|||The contact lenses available to us does not "fade into the pupil area' meaning if you wear colored contact lenses during the day, it looks fake because your pupil is still large. Real eyes would dilate according the light available. Color contacts lenses do not put this factor into account.

|||Colored lenses only look realistic at night, when the pupils should be large / Dilated. I would love it if the manufactures would put this issue into account when creating colored contact lenses.. so to answer the questions above- color contact lenses only look realistic at night with dim lights.

|||This is very true. What causes the fake effect is the fixed pupil at daylight. However, some contact lenses companies do take that into consideration giving a more realistic effect even during the day. One of them is Solotica. They create their contacts in such way that....

Then you'd need to choose a contact color that will match harmonically with your dark eyes (Green, Honey or Gray. Not so much blue).

|||Solotica are from Brazil. I personally use them and I'm very happy with them. I receive a lot of compliments. This is the site where I buy them:

I particulary recommend the Hydrocharm Mel (Honey) and Branca (ice / gray).

|||Other brands include Adore from Italy. Their contacts also blend in with your iris nicely.

|||There's a brand located in New York City named Custom Color Contacts. They're hand-painted and extremely realistic. They're also very expensive (about $500/ea). They're worn by top models and famous actors. However, they don't blend in the pupil.
